Off Season Strengthening Clinic Series for the Female Multisport Athlete

Multisport in Motion has been training triathletes for over 4 years.  We have observed that women tend to have more nagging injuries, like plantar fasciitis and illiotobial band syndrome, due to the biological nature of their flexible childbearing hips. As women progress in the sport of triathlon, injury often complements the process due to weak core and glute muscles.  This clinic will bring together local industry thought leaders to educate and assist the female athlete in strategies to remain injury free while also improving their ongoing performance.

Scheduled for Saturday December 14-15 2013 and then Sunday, January 12, 2014, this clinic series will support the endurance female athlete by providing insight and hands-on methods to address a significant, recurring weakness or imbalance with this particular demographic.

The clinic will be led by Alyssa Morrison, a USAT Level II Coach, USA Cycling Level III Coach, USAT Youth and Juniors Coach, Spinning Instructor, and Occupational Therapist and will feature sessions with Michele Landry, a certified Stott Pilates Instructor, TRX and Spinning instructor, an AFAA personal trainer, and Cross Fit Endurance instructor.

Event Schedule:
