Where Innovation Meets Endurance: USA Triathlon Announces 2027 Endurance Exchange Will Return to Caribe Royale Orlando Jan. 8-10
by USA Triathlon
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — USA Triathlon today announced its annual Endurance Exchange endurance sports industry conference will return to Orlando, Florida, on Jan. 8-10, 2027, once again hosted at the Caribe Royale Orlando, which hosted the 2026 conference. The 2027 conference will explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and human connection in the world of multisport, bringing together hundreds of coaches, race directors, club leaders, athletes, officials, and industry partners for three days of ideas, education, networking and a forward-looking conversation about what's next for the sport.
Since its inception, Endurance Exchange has served as the premier gathering for the multisport community to connect, share best practices, and elevate their impact on athletes and organizations nationwide. The 2027 program is built around three days, each specifically designed to meet endurance professionals where the industry is headed: from the rise of AI and emerging technology, to the heart of our sport being our human experience, connection, and community, to building momentum around the future of our sport through data, trends, and the upcoming Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Registration for 2027 Endurance Exchange will open soon. Those interested in attending Endurance Exchange can submit their interest via this form and be among the first notified when early-access pricing becomes available.
Keynote speakers, additional programming details, and registration information will be announced in the coming months. For the latest updates, visit usatriathlon.org/2027-endurance-exchange.
A Three-Day Program Built Around What's Next for the Sport
Day One: Innovation and Intelligence will feature practical conversations around AI, innovation, technology, and the tools shaping the future of coaching and endurance sport. Sessions will help coaches, race directors and club leaders understand how to evaluate, adopt and apply emerging technology in ways that genuinely serve their athletes and businesses.
Day Two: Human Connection and Community will turn the lens to leadership, psychology, communication, and the human side of coaching that keeps athletes engaged and growing. The day will explore how the best leaders in endurance sport build cultures that retain athletes and develop talent.
Day Three: The Road to LA2028 will provide an overview of the opportunities, visibility, and momentum leading up to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Attendees will hear how clubs, coaches, and race directors can position themselves to capitalize on the once-in-a-generation spotlight the Games will bring to the sport on home soil.
The Caribe Royale Orlando, a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor® Resort, offers a unique and luxurious event experience, with all learning, networking and community-building in one location. The resort features pools, sport courts, exclusive walking and running trails, and a two-story fitness center, encouraging both professional growth and personal rejuvenation for attendees.
Across all three days, the program will feature live sessions presented by the industry's top coaches, race directors and industry professionals, with a mix of hands-on workshops, lecture-style experiences, and community-driven networking activities. The conference will have separate tracks for race directors, coaches, industry professionals and athletes, while USA Triathlon Certified Coaches will once again have the opportunity to earn continuing education units (CEUs) by attending.
The final day of the conference will anchor in industry data and trends, presented in two formats. USA Triathlon will present proprietary data and trends providing in-depth insights into participation trends, demographic shifts, and industry data. This will be coupled with the return of the USA Triathlon State of the Sport presentation. 2027 will mark the fifth consecutive year of this report, produced by Sponsorship Research International (SRi). The State of the Sport Survey provides valuable "intention” insights and year-on-year trends on the current state of the multisport industry and USA Triathlon membership. Together, these sessions will help coaches, race directors, club leaders, and industry insiders identify key trends and inform strategic decision-making for the year ahead.
