The Americas Triathlon Cup Long Beach 2023 swim course is 750 meters. Athletes will complete two laps of the following course: departing the shoreline heading southeast, turning right at two triangle buoys to head back to the shore heading northwest. Upon reaching shore, athletes will exit the water and run along the beach back to the start line to begin the second lap. The second lap follows the first except that athletes will run to transition upon exiting the water a second time.

The Americas Triathlon Cup Long Beach 2023 Bike Course is 20 kilometers. Athletes will complete three laps on the following course: upon leaving the transition area, going west on Shoreline Drive. Turn left onto Queens Way going south and follow it until it becomes Queens Highway. The turnaround point is on Queens Highway, then athletes will venture north, turning right to stay on Queens Way before turning right on Shoreline and toward the transition area. Athletes will travel through transition two begin laps two and three.

The Americas Triathlon Cup Long Beach 2023 run course is five kilometers. Athletes will compete four laps of the following course: athletes will run northeast out of transition, where they’ll immediately turn around and onto Shoreline Drive. Head north until Ocean Boulevard, where they’ll turn around venture west. They’ll turn left and run through the transition area after laps one, two, and three. On the fourth lap, they’ll take a sharp left into the finish line.

The World Triathlon Para Cup Long Beach 2023 swim course is one lap of 750 meters. Athletes will swim east from the start line, turning right at a triangle shaped buoy to head southwest. Another right turn at another triangle buoy puts athletes swimming towards shore, where they’ll exit the water. Pre-transition is located immediately after the swim exit, and athletes will continue to on toward the transition area.

The 2023 Legacy Triathlon Bike Course is two laps and 18.6 kilometers. Athletes will travel west on Shoreline drive out of the transition area. They’ll reach a turnaround point after Ocean Boulevard, where they’ll turn around and travel east until Queens Way, where they’ll turn south and follow Queens Way until the turnaround point. Heading north on Queens Highway, they’ll turn right onto Queens Way north, then right onto Shoreline Drive east back to the transition area.

They’ll continue east on Shoreline Drive until another turnaround point at Ocean Boulevard. They’ll once again head west towards transition. Athletes will stay right to begin a second lap of the course. On the second lap, they’ll turn left towards the finish line.



The 2023 Legacy Aquathlon course consists of one 750 meter swim and 5 kilometer run. The swim course begins heading southeast from the start line along the shore. Athletes will turn right at a triangle buoy, swim southwest for a bit, turn right at another triangle-shaped buoy to head northwest towards the shore. After running out of the water, they run straight and turn left into the transition area. They’ll exit the north end of the transition area and turn west onto E Shoreline drive. They’ll reach a turnaround point just after passing Pine Ave. to head east on E Shoreline. When they reach W Ocean Boulevard, they’ll turn around again and repeat the run course one time. The second time after they turn around at W. Ocean Boulevard, they’ll turn a sharp left into the finish line.

The 2023 Legacy Aquabike course consists of one 750 meter swim and 18.6 kilometer bike. The swim course begins heading southeast from the start line along the shore. Athletes will turn right at a triangle buoy, swim southwest for a bit, turn right at another triangle-shaped buoy to head northwest towards the shore. After running out of the water, they run straight and turn left into the transition area. They’ll exit the north end of the transition area and turn west onto Shoreline drive for two laps on their bike. They’ll follow Shoreline Drive until the turnaround point past W. Ocean Boulevard. After traveling west on Shoreline Drive, they’ll turn right onto Queens Way, which will turn into Queens Highway South after another left turn. Another turnaround point sends athletes going north onto Queens Highway, and they’ll turn right onto Queens Way and another right onto Shoreline Drive towards the transition area. Athletes will ride through the transition area onto their second and final lap. The finish line will be in the transition area after their second lap.
