COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The USA Triathlon Foundation today released its 2025 Impact Report: Momentum Through Philanthropy, detailing how donor support, community partnerships, and strategic initiatives expanded opportunities for athletes across the United States in 2025.
As the charitable arm of USA Triathlon, the USA Triathlon Foundation plays an important role in USA Triathlon’s strategic plan, Elevate 2028: Focus Forward, the organization’s roadmap to the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
In 2025, the Foundation raised $4.2 million in total donations from more than 2,500 donors, fueling programs and grants that expand access to swim, bike and run opportunities. Through these efforts, the Foundation supported more than 2,000 athletes through Access and Inclusion grants and impacted more than 24,000 youth athletes through youth-focused programs and initiatives, while also supporting more than 60 athletes on the elite development pathway.
“The Foundation plays a critical role in helping us achieve our goals of expanding access, supporting athletes, and strengthening the community,” said USA Triathlon CEO, Victoria Brumfield. “That progress is made possible through the support of our donors, whose generosity allows the Foundation to continue growing triathlon’s impact as we look ahead to the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games.”
“The 2025 Impact Report reflects the incredible power of giving and the growing momentum behind the Foundation’s mission,” said USA Triathlon Foundation Chief Development Officer, Jason Rizzi. “Every grant, program, and initiative supported this year helped open doors for athletes to train, compete, and discover what’s possible through multisport. We’re proud of the progress we’ve made and are excited to continue building opportunity across the sport.”
