Collegiate Club Triathlon

    Collegiate club triathlon gives college students of all genders, abilities and backgrounds the opportunity to represent their school in competitive multisport. The sport of triathlon has seen a tremendous amount of growth over the past five years, especially within the college and university community. Collegiate club triathlon gives athletes a friendly, supportive and competitive atmosphere to make lifelong friends in a lifelong sport.

    Every year, USA Triathlon sponsors a national championship race for collegiate triathlon clubs. The 2024 USA Triathlon Collegiate Club National Championships were held in Mission Viejo, California, and featured the following events:

    • Draft-Legal Sprint Triathlon
    • Olympic-Distance Triathlon
    • Mixed Team Relay Triathlon

    Past Results


    Every competitor at the Collegiate Club National Championships must be eligible to compete for their institution. Inr order to verify their eligibility, their status as a current or recently graduated student must be confirmed by the school's registrar office.

    Collegiate Triathlon Conferences

    There are 10 USA Triathlon Collegiate Triathlon Conferences that are affiliated with the USA Triathlon Collegiate Club program. The conference races are organized by the commissioners and are added waves at local events within the geographical region of the conference.
