Collegiate club triathlon gives college students of all genders, abilities and backgrounds the opportunity to represent their school in competitive multisport. The sport of triathlon has seen a tremendous amount of growth over the past five years, especially within the college and university community. Collegiate club triathlon gives athletes a friendly, supportive and competitive atmosphere to make lifelong friends in a lifelong sport.

USA Triathlon Collegiate Club National Championships #
2025 USA Triathlon Collegiate Club National Championships is headed to Homestead-Miami Speedway in Miami, Fla., this March 28-29! Hosted by CLASH Endurance, the Collegiate Club Nationals brings together more than 1,000 of the nation's top collegiate club athletes from across the country for two days of fast, exciting racing.
Every competitor at the Collegiate Club National Championships must be eligible to compete for their institution. Inr order to verify their eligibility, their status as a current or recently graduated student must be confirmed by the school's registrar office.

If you attend or are interested in attending an institution that is not represented on this list, please reach out to clubs@usatriathlon.org for help in forming a new club.
Collegiate Triathlon Conferences#
There are 10 USA Triathlon Collegiate Triathlon Conferences that are affiliated with the USA Triathlon Collegiate Club program. The conference races are organized by the commissioners and are added waves at local events within the geographical region of the conference.
The Florida Collegiate Triathlon Conference, also known as the FCTC, was formed in 2007 to develop collegiate triathlon in the state of Florida. The FCTC is recognized as the governing body for the sport of collegiate triathlon within the state of Florida.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Florida Collegiate Triathlon Conference is to administer, develop and promote collegiate triathlon within Florida. The FCTC shall annually determine team and individual Conference Champions, and shall pursue a leadership role regionally and nationally to foster collegiate triathlon.

The Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Triathlon Conference (MACTC), is an association of the colleges and universities within the USA Triathlon’s Mid-Atlantic Region of the United States, which is comprised of the states of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Virginia, Washington D.C. and West Virginia. The MACTC is recognized as the governing body for the sport of collegiate triathlon for all schools within these states. We intend to develop the sport of triathlon within the collegiate ranks through encouraging extramural and intramural competition as a step towards both elite athlete development and life-long health.

Mission Statement
“The mission of the Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Triathlon Conference is to administer, develop, and promote collegiate triathlon within our region. The MACTC shall annually determine team and individual Conference Champions, and assist the schools within our region in preparations for nationals. Additionally, MACTC shall pursue a leadership role regionally and nationally to foster the growth of collegiate triathlon.”
To achieve this, the MACTC shall:
- Establish membership for clubs and athletes within MACTC.
- Appoint a Conference Director.
- Facilitate a yearly Conference Championship event.
- Pursue financial support for its mission and its members.
- Foster communication with other collegiate triathlon teams and conferences.

The Mideast Collegiate Triathlon Conference (MECTC) is the collegiate triathlon conference containing the states of Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois. It was founded in 2010 when the Midwest (MWCTC) was split into the Mideast and Midwest conferences. The goal of the MECTC is to foster the growth and competitiveness of the sport of triathlon at the collegiate level in the region. Any collegiate club in the region is encouraged to join the conference and participate in conference events.
The MECTC outdoor race schedule spans from May to October, with the conference championship in mid-September. Teams and individuals compete in these races for their standing in the conference omnium as well as bragging rights. In addition to summer races, the conference also has several indoor events through the winter months. These allow athletes to gain further competition experience while the weather is not suitable for outdoor racing. Although a highly competitive sport, our athletes have created unique bonds across teams and will regularly socialize before, during, and after meets. Mission Statement
The Mission of the Mideast Collegiate Triathlon Conference is to promote and grow collegiate triathlons throughout the Mideast Region by providing its triathletes with racing and networking opportunities while embracing the higher ideals of sportsmanship and athletic excellence of USA Triathlon.

The Midwest Collegiate Triathlon Conference (MWCTC) was founded in 2006. It began as an association of colleges and universities located in the Midwestern and Mideastern United States of America. In 2010 the large conference split into the Midwest and Mideast conferences, which are now governed separately. USA Triathlon officially recognizes the MWCTC as the governing body for the sport of triathlon at the collegiate level in the Midwestern United States. The conference is open to teams from Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

Collegiate triathlon clubs in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming are among America’s most competitive collegiate clubs while also among the largest and most beginner-friendly. MCTC clubs perennially compete for national championships while challenging each other on some of the country’s most epic high-altitude and warm desert triathlon courses. Our ideal location for endurance sports and well-renown collegiate clubs attract prospective collegiate triathletes from throughout the nation.

Mission Statement
The Mountain Collegiate Triathlon Conference promotes interscholastic competition among collegiate triathlon clubs throughout the Mountain Time Zone in order to achieve competitive excellence, maximum participation and sustainment of the sport of triathlon on collegiate campuses.

The Northeast Collegiate Conference (NECTC) comprises of all schools in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. The major competition of the schools is a race series of sprint and international triathlons that occurs in the fall. Other non-race series are added throughout the year to incorporate a different multi-sport experience such as 70.3 or Xterra races.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Northeast Collegiate Triathlon Conference (NECTC) is to promote triathlon to collegiate athletes in the region for the growth and development of the sport. The conference aims to develop a community that is both competitive and fun. The competition is both an individual and a team competition to bring experienced and novice triathletes together. The goal is to constantly bring in new athletes into a competitive environment using the ephemeral nature of collegiate sports and team competition. The conference is designed to bring in triathletes with various backgrounds, including people that have never races, provide an environment that is competitive and promotes development. The conference, as a community of collegiate triathletes, will bring forth an opportunity and encourage individuals to become elite athletes and/or to build leadership skills revolved around the sport.

The Northwest Collegiate Triathlon Conference (NWCTC), founded in 2011, is an association of the colleges and universities within the USA Triathlon’s Northwest Region of the United States, which is comprised of the states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. The NWCTC is recognized as the governing body for the sport of collegiate triathlon for all schools in the previously defined area. NWCTC management is located in Corvallis, OR.

The South Midwest Collegiate Triathlon Conference (SMWCTC) was created in 2007 so that the collegiate students living in TX, LA, OK, and AR could attend Collegiate Nationals. Now the conference has 15+ teams, a conference schedule and championship, and great team-to-team competitive nature. The SMWCTC is officially recognized as the governing body for the sport of triathlon at the collegiate level in the South Midwest United States of America by United States of America Triathlon (USAT), the national governing body of triathlon in the United States of America.

The Mission of the South Midwest Collegiate Triathlon Conference is to promote, administer, and develop collegiate triathlon throughout the states of Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. The Southeast Collegiate Triathlon Conference (SECTC), founded in 2006, is an association of colleges and universities located in the Southeastern United States of America. The SECTC is governing body for the sport of triathlon at the collegiate level in the Southeastern United States of America within the national governing body of triathlon in the United States of America, USAT as well as the Southeast Region (USAT-SE).
Mission Statement
The mission of the Southeast Collegiate Triathlon Conference is to administer, develop, promote, and support the sport of triathlon at the collegiate level within the Southeastern United States of America. The Southeast Collegiate Triathlon Conference (SECTC) is dedicated to promoting the sport of triathlon at the collegiate level within the Southeast region, facilitating constructive dialog among member teams, and developing regionally and nationally competitive athletes. The SECTC shall aid in the development of its member teams and annually determine team and individual conference champions. The SECTC shall achieve these goals in part through a competitive race series.
To achieve these goals, the SECTC shall:
- Establish a system of membership to certify clubs and individual athletes as members;
- Appoint a governing committee and a representative chairperson;
- Recognize one representative from each member team to serve on the board;
- Pursue financial and sponsorship support for its mission and its members;
- Facilitate events at the collegiate level that benefit all members;
- Foster communication with other collegiate conferences, triathlon teams and clubs, and other individuals connected with the sport of triathlon.

The West Coast Collegiate Triathlon Conference (WCCTC), founded in 2005, is an association of the colleges and universities within the USA Triathlon’s Southwest Region of the United States, which is comprised of the states of California, and Arizona.
