A record field of 126 varsity student-athletes competed Nov. 16 at the fifth annual Women's Collegiate Triathlon National Championships, held at Tempe Town Lake in Arizona. Arizona State University earned its fourth consecutive NCAA Division I team title, as Kyla Roy grabbed the individual DI victory and her Sun Devil teammate Audrey Ernst finished second. Queens University of Charlotte claimed DII honors for the fifth straight year, led by DII runner-up Natalie Bash and third-place finisher Sam McInnes. North Central College dominated the DIII team competition, as Madelyn Scopp and Annika Cotner finished first and third respectively. Davis & Elkins College also had a champion on the day, as Natalia Hidalgo Martinez earned the DII individual victory.
