Watch: An Honest Conversation About the Black Triathlete Experience
by USA Triathlon
In February 2024, USA Triathlon hosted a panel discussion led by Michanda Myles, Reggie Waller, Zsa Zsa Porter, Yvonne Spencer, Jordan Hunter and Merle McDonald-Aaron to talk about the unique experiences of Black athletes in the multisport community.
This panel discussion offered an opportunity for open and honest conversation, shedding light on the varied experiences – both positive and challenging – of Black individuals within the USA Triathlon community.
Through this dialogue, we aim to cultivate awareness and drive actionable change. Together, we can lay the foundation for a USA Triathlon community that exemplifies the principles of equity, justice, and unity. Together, We Thrive.
