U.S. Earns Top-10 Finish at 2025 World Triathlon Mixed Relay World Championships

HAMBURG, Germany — The United States placed eighth at the Mixed Relay World Championships in Hamburg, Germany on Sunday, July 13 to conclude two days of elite racing.

The four-person team, made up of U.S. Elite Triathlon National Team Members Taylor Spivey (Redondo Beach, Calif.), Chase McQueen (Columbus, Ind.), Erika Ackerlund (Helena, Mont.) and John Reed (Virginia Beach, Va.) battled their way to a time of 1 hour, 17 minutes, 52 seconds

Team Australia pulled off the win, crossing the line in a sprint-finish in a time of 1:16:52. France earned the silver in 1:16:55 and home-country Germany earned the bronze in 1:16:59.
