USA Triathlon’s Women’s Series Features 27 Women’s-Only Triathlons Across the U.S.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Triathlon today announced the 27 women’s-focused multisport events that are a part of the 2024 USA Triathlon Women’s Series supported by Air Force Special Warfare. The Series includes USA Triathlon Sanctioned women’s events across the country that give women athletes, from beginner to experienced, a space to celebrate and engage with other women in the multisport community.

“We appreciate the work being done by these local race directors who are carrying on the tradition of supporting more opportunities for women to get involved in our sport,” said Victoria Brumfield, USA Triathlon CEO. “I encourage all women to bring a friend and introduce multisport at a Women’s Series race near them.”

Qualification is not required to participate in the USA Triathlon Women’s Series, which spans the multisport season from April through September. Events in the USA Triathlon Women’s Series feature a variety of race distances and formats, including sprint- and Olympic-distance triathlons, aquabikes (swim-bike), aquathlon (swim-run), duathlons (run-bike-run), relay categories and youth events.

USA Triathlon Level III Certified Coach Sami Winter has created an eight-week Olympic-distance training plan that can be downloaded here for free for athletes interested in structuring their training or jumping up to the Olympic-distance.
