How to Watch U.S. Triathletes at the 2025 World Championships in Wollongong

WOLLONGONG, Australia — World Championships week is here! And what a packed week of racing it's going to be in Wollongong, Australia, for the 2025 World Triathlon Championship Finals.
U.S. Elite Triathletes, Elite Paratriathletes, U23 and Junior athletes, and Age Group Team USA athletes will race for 2025 World Championship titles across four days of events in "The Gong," south of Sydney. Wollongong is also hosting the seventh stop on the T100 Series.

The streets of Wollongong will be bouncing to the march of thousands of triathletes as the sights and sounds of the traditional Parade of Nations open the 2025 Championship Finals in style.
Age Group Team USA — made up of nearly 400 athletes — will represent the Red, White and Blue in style.
U23 World Championships | Standard-Distance Age Group World Championships | Age Group Aquabike World Championships
First up on Thursday is the Standard-distance Age Group World Championships, followed by the Age Group Aquabike Worlds mid-morning, with 45 nations represented across the Age Group events.
Then it is all eyes on the next generation of athletes looking to make a name for themselves toward the LA 2028 Olympic Games as the always entertaining U23 World Championships hit town.
U.S. Elite Reese Vannerson will want to go one better than his Junior silver last year. He'll face stiff competition from the likes of Oliver Conway (GBR), Marton Kropko (HUN), and Australian home favorite Bradley Course. Vannerson will be joined by his U.S. teammates and Project Podium training partners, Braxton Legg, Sullivan Middaugh and Porter Middaugh.
The U.S. U23 women will be represented by Naomi Ruff, Joy Gill, Britney Brown, Chelsea Webber, and Ellison Wolfe, who will battle Ilona Hadhoum (FRA), Zuzana Michalickova (SVK), and Richelle Hill (AUS) among the ones to watch in the women’s race.

The Age Group Sprint racing gets Friday underway, before the afternoon is given over to the young guns for the Junior World Championships.
Fast, unpredictable sprint-distance action is on the cards, with last year’s women’s 1-2-3 of Ambre Grasset (FRA), Fanni Szalai (HUN) and Lea Houart (FRA) all returning. They'll face competition from the U.S. squad of Jimena Renata De La Peña Schott, Ruth Pardy, Mia Wentzy and Marley Andelman.
Battling it out for the men’s Junior title will be Australia's home hope Zahn Spies, up against U.S. Junior Blake Bullard, who is joined by Isaac Lamprecht and Graham Hummel.

Onto Saturday, elite Paratriathletes take center stage for the Para Triathlon World Championships, where we will see U.S. Elite Paratriathletes Grace Norman and Allysa Seely race to defend their 2024 world titles.
The afternoon racing belongs to the Junior/U23 Mixed Relay Worlds, and then the T100 races, with U.S. pro Jason West a men's dark-horse podium contender.

Championshp Finals | Para Mixed Relay World Championships | Age Group Mixed Relay World Championships
Kicking off the final day is the second-ever Para Mixed Relay World Championships, with the U.S. aiming to defend its 2024 world title.
Age Group Team USA athletes will then team up for the Age Group Mixed Relay World Championships.
Then at 2 p.m. local time, it is showdown time in the Women’s World Championships, with U.S. Elite Taylor Spivey in the mix to race for a podium spot. The past two world champions, Cassandre Beaugrand (FRA) and Beth Potter (GBR) come into Australia tied in Series points, with Sunday's showdown the ultimate decider.
In the men's race, always dangerous U.S. Elite Morgan Pearson comes to the World Championships looking for a repeat of his 2022 performance in Abu Dhabi where he captured silver. Australia's Matt Hauser aims to become his home country's first men's world champion in two decades.
