Meet the 116 Members of the 2026 USA Triathlon Foundation Ambassador Team
by USA Triathlon Foundation
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The 2026 USA Triathlon Foundation Ambassador Team will feature a record-breaking 116 ambassadors, the Foundation announced today, making up a passionate, nationwide community committed to both fundraising and raising awareness for the USA Triathlon Foundation, the sport and multisport communities. Of the 116 Foundation Ambassadors, 61 are first-time ambassadors.
The USA Triathlon Foundation Ambassador Team is made up of age group athletes from across the United States who bring a diverse set of experiences and backgrounds in the sport. The USA Triathlon Foundation Ambassador Team embodies the goals of the USA Triathlon Foundation: to support and promote the virtues of triathlon, and to open pathways for all to swim, bike, and run.
“Our Foundation ambassadors are instrumental in expanding access to multisport and creating meaningful opportunities for individuals to swim, bike, and run in communities across the country,” said Lindsay Welker, Sr. Manager of Annual Fund and Operations for the USA Triathlon Foundation. “This year’s team reflects the strength and diversity of our multisport community, bringing together athletes of different ages, abilities, and backgrounds, including several returning ambassadors who continue to make a powerful impact for the Foundation.”
Each member of the USA Triathlon Foundation Ambassador Team raises dollars and helps increase awareness of the USA Triathlon Foundation and the multisport community through their fundraising efforts. That funding will go toward deserving individuals and organizations in the multisport community in support of the foundation’s three pillars: Encourage Youth Participation, Inspire Pathways to Access and Inclusion, and Ignite Olympic and Paralympic Dreams. Ambassadors race in USA Triathlon Foundation branded race kits throughout the year to increase visibility of the Foundation in the triathlon community.
