How to watch triathlon at the Tokyo Olympics

The Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 are almost here! 

Katie Zaferes, Summer Rappaport, Taylor Knibb, Morgan Pearson and Kevin McDowell will represent the U.S. in Tokyo, and the triathlon action begins Sunday, July 25 for U.S. viewers. 

Here's your guide for how to watch the triathlon competition. 

Remember these dates: Sunday, July 25, Monday, July 26 and Friday, July 30. The men’s race will be at 5:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, July 25. The women’s race will be at 5:30 p.m. ET on Monday, July 26. And the Mixed Relay will be at 6:30 p.m. ET on Friday, July 30.

The men's race, women's race and Mixed Relay will all air live on USA Network, and will also be livestreamed on NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports App. NBC Universal will air more than 5,000 hours of live coverage across its channels. You can see the full Olympic Games TV schedule here.

Before and after the men's and women's races and Mixed Relay, tune in to the USA Triathlon Facebook page for pre- and post-race commentary from our panel of triathlon experts.

Four-time Olympian Hunter Kemper and former USA Triathlon Board of Directors President Barry Siff will provide commentary for the men's race beginning at 4:45 p.m. ET on Sunday, July 25, and post-race commentary beginning at 8 p.m. ET. 

Providing pre- and post-race coverage for the women's race Triathlete editor-in-chief Kelly O'Mara and Olympian Joanna Zeiger will begin their commentary at 4:45 p.m. ET on Monday, July 26 and post-race commentary at 8 p.m. ET. 

2016 Olympian Joe Maloy and 2004 Olympian Barb Lindquist will begin Mixed Relay pre-race commentary at 5:45 p.m. ET on Friday, July 30 and post-race commentary at 8:30 p.m. ET.
