The word "inspiring" has been most commonly used to describe Bridget since her passing, and the goal of this grant is to extend her inspiration beyond her achievements and coaching. Bridget raced with grace, confidence, strength, and a quiet fierceness that made her a champion in the sport, as well as a mentor and friend to the entire community. Her drive and vitality will live on through the young women whose athletic goals will be supported from this fund.

Support programs introducing new youth, especially in underserved areas.
Support Youth RDS by helping fund new and growing youth race series.
Strengthen grassroots clubs and existing youth triathlon programs.
I wasn't an athlete before my injury, but now I am an athlete and a triathlete!
Thanks to the Bridget Inspires Grant we are able to provide services and support for our young female triathletes. Their kindness and generous grant will keep these young people active and moving towards successful futures.
The impact this program has on the kids’ experiences allows them to learn tough life lessons and develop mental strength and courage, which will be applied on and off the race course.
