The Race4Chase Kid’s Triathlon program is a youth triathlon program that provides kids aged 6 to 12 with a safe, healthy non-competitive environment to discover the sport of triathlon. It brings together kids from different backgrounds and educates them on how to adopt a healthy lifestyle, coaches them to develop a foundation of athletic skills, and inspires them to aim high in sports and in life.
USA Kids Tri and Race4Chase are partnering to bring triathlon to new athletes across the country as well as grow the Race for Chase Program in Honor of Chase Kowalski. Visit the Race4Chase website to learn more about Chase and the story behind Race4Chase.
Race4Chase Program Details
Designed as a six-week goal-oriented summer program, the program provides kids with expert instruction in swimming, cycling, running, strength training and flexibility, and nutrition under the supportive guidance of coaches, lifeguards and instructors. Implementing a training program designed specifically for each site, coaches provide youth athletes with the equipment, knowledge, and one-on-one support necessary to become triathletes. At the culmination of the training camp, all the youth athletes come together to compete in a USAT-sanctioned triathlon race.
The program is FREE to all participants. Bicycles are provided by the program for training purposes, and any participant that does not own a bicycle can take one home with them.
