USA Triathlon Partners With Vitruvian as Official Strength Training Partner

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — USA Triathlon today announced it has partnered with Vitruvian, an in-home strength and personal training platform, as the organization’s Official Strength Training Partner. 

The Australian-based company produces an innovative smart strength training machine that brings the gym weight room to people’s homes in a slim, carbon fiber platform. Vitruvian’s technology includes the Vitruvian app which gives users access to 200-plus exercises, classes curated by elite fitness coaches, data tracking and performance insights. 

As a part of the partnership, Vitruvian will offer four specially curated training programs written by USA Triathlon Level III Certified Coach Kris Swarthout. These training programs include four-week bike, swim and running programs, along with an eight-week off-season triathlon program.

Vitruvian and USA Triathlon are also collaborating to provide Vitruvian trainers to U.S. Paralympic medalist Grace Norman and U.S. elite triathletes Chase McQueen, Tamara Gorman and Gina Sereno to assist in their training. 

Throughout the partnership, Vitruvian and USA Triathlon will continue to collaborate on creating triathlon-specific training programs available for multisport athletes.
