The RFP is open and will remain open through Aug. 21. The selection period will run through mid-September. with announcements planned in late October/early November.
Applications for the Womens, Gravel, Winter and Splash and Dash series will continue to be accepted on a rolling basis as space is available in each program.

Requirements
Requirements of Race Directors to apply for and host a State Championship
- Race Director must produce non-draft sprint- and Olympic-distance triathlons at the same event on the same weekend (exceptions will be made if no other options exist in the state)
- Hosting a duathlon as part of the event is preferred, but not required
- A high-school division must be part of the sprint (or super sprint-distance) event
- Must host a Splash and Dash Youth Series event for ages 7 to 15
- Race Director Certification preferred, but not required
- Must not charge more than a $50 entry fee for athletes ages 19 and younger
- Race must have been sanctioned for at least two years and is in good standing
Requirements of Race Directors to apply for and host a National Championship
- Race Director Certification required
- Must produce races in the required distances
- Must not charge more than a $50 entry fee for athletes ages 19 and younger

Requirements of Race Directors to apply for and host a Gravel Series event
- Must produce gravel triathlons, duathlons, aquabikes, or aquathlons with a gravel bike component that is at least 70% gravel surface
- Race Director must be in good standing
Requirements of Race Directors to apply for and host a Women’s Series event
- Must be a women-focused event that hosts at least a triathlon and ideally other disciplines as well
- Must be beginner-friendly
- Race Director must be in good standing
Reqirements of Race Directors to apply for and host a Winter Series event
- Event must occur in the months of December, January, February or through March 15
- Race Director must be in good standing
Requirements of Race Directors to apply for and host a Splash and Dash Series event
- Must be a swim-run event that is kid-friendly for ages 7-15
- Must have distances equal or close to a 100m swim, 1k run (ages 7-10) and 200m swim, 2k run (ages 11-15)
- Must keep entry fee under $45 total (including $10 youth membership)
- Race Director must be in good standing
