Level II Certification culminates with coaches completing a Specialization Clinic. In order to participate in a clinic, they must have taken the clinic's preceeding Level I Area of Focus course (Level I Short Course Area of Focus > Level II Short Course Specialization Clinic, etc.).
For a USA Triathlon Level I Certified Coach to be eligible to advance to Level II, they must meet all required criteria and have earned a minimum of eight Professional Advancement Units (PAUs).
Note: USAT has recently updated its coaching development pathway to this process, but there will be flexibility in the selection process during this transition period. If you have any questions during or after the application process, email email@example.com.
